Metalworking Blacksmithing 101 with Billy - August Daytimes

About this class

This Blacksmithing 101 class will introduce students to the basic techniques of forging – including safety in the forging area. Students will learn to use the basic tools in the blacksmith shop properly to perform basic forging techniques to manipulate steel: drawing out/tapering; twisting; bending/scrolling; upsetting; isolating material; splitting/cutting; punching and drifting holes; and rounding square stock.

Tuition costs cover 9 hours of instruction during the daytime to be scheduled a week in advance with the instructor and student.
